For the last 15 years MONROW has displayed a variety of effortless, relevant, and adaptable styles to form a lifestyle brand. This fashion label is inspired by top quality fabrics such as their staple “super soft” fabric to design and create stylish pieces to accompany any woman’s wardrobe. In every closet there is a “go-to” piece, that’s exactly what MONROW creates, go-to clothes for any occasion day or night. Worn by celebrities, Oprah, Michelle Obama, Reese Witherspoon, Kate Moss, Gwenyth Paltrow, and Beyonce this brand is obviously full in a wide range of styles for great styled women. With the brains and drive of two designers who met while attending Otis College of Art and Design, Michelle Wenke and Megan George brought this brand to life. Megan started out by designing her first line, “George”, which soon after sold to Frank Segal. Michelle became a stylist and worked for world renowned stylist Jessica Paster. Michelle eventually grew and broke into her own styling editorials, television and music videos. MONROW’s concept originated from wanting to fill the void in the fashion industry for good quality, and timeless garments. Combined with their intuition and knowledge of technical practices these two women began experimenting with fabrics over a kitchen table. Since the blossom of this business the two have continued to play an active role in every process of each collection, from the beginning mood board to the final stitches. While Megan brings a sense of knowledge and appreciation for classic design work and attention to detail, Michelle is a visionary who dreams up collections and themes. With the two women working together they have managed to create the brand MONROW to fit everyone for everyday occasions.
